About
I love to share my knowledge of sewing and have many secret tips that are not in the pattern instructions or the sewing books. My students keep telling me I should write a book with my "extra" information. The students love to come to my school which is well-lighted, has the most up-to-date easy to use machines, refreshments, rest room and great social amenities. I have been teaching since 1974 and some of my students have gone on to become designers. Check out my website for a visual of the school. Sewingcenterunlimited.com or.net.
I love interacting with the students and problem-solving their sewing. This is a field that frequently has problems and I pride myself on being able to resolve most of them. Also, my school is a social club where people feel free to discuss thier problems outside of sewing. I have a student that has been with me since 1974 and several others that have been here over 10 years. It is a comfortable place.

First lesson consists of measuring the new student, explaining how to read the back of the pattern envelope, how to look at the pattern books and a trip to the Fabric Store to purchase fbric for the project.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained by my mother who had been sewing for about 50 years and had her own busines of designing and making garments which were very exceptional.
