About
Nowadays many people have become excellent talented seamstresses. I am that! What sets me apart is that I am a Master Teacher! You too can learn to sew in a constructive yet patient environment. I will encourage you to meet and overcome where you are (at whatever level that is) to take your skills to the next level.
I have taught many classes and even travel to conduct 2 day intensive boot camps throughout the country. My specialty is teaching the principles of clothing construction.
What I enjoy most about teaching is seeing my student bring their vision to reality and seeing the light in their eyes when they learn a new skill or complete a project that they realize they can actually wear

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
In a class environment I first interview the student to insure they are enrolled in the correct class for their skill level. In private sessions, along with the interview we discuss student goals and ambitions and tailor class according to what they are attempting to accomplish.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had formal training years and years and years ago 😊 however I would say that the expertise has been sewing 30 years for a clientele that has crossed the ocean. I’ve sewn for professional athletes, business men and women, children, brides etc.
As I grew older I realized that a need for teaching and sharing was developing in me. It became a feeling of “I have to get this out of me”. I have to leave it with someone else.
