What is your typical process for working with a new student?
First step is advising me what your goals and limitations are so that I am able to assess my ability to help you. Then I will have you complete some paperwork to give me more information. I physician's clearance may be needed for specific medical conditions.
Secondly, we begin our program. I like to start simple and address concerns as they arise. Honesty is the best policy as we communicate and get to know what obstacles are hindering the client. Building a rapport with trust is key to success.
Progression continues until both the short term and long term goals are reached. At times they may be changed as the client learns more about their body, their needs and their abilities. Change is to be expected. Success will be achieved.
