FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Initially, we need to meet and discuss where you're at, where you want to be.  Our team truly listens for understanding.

At this point, we submit a plan for your consideration.  This will likely include sessions of self discovery, education, experiential exercises, inspiration, grounding, & awakening the Spirit.

As we begin working together it is important to begin with a session of discovery.  Therefore, we run a few tests to discover who you are.  People don't always know their personality type, for instance.  It is important to understand your natural strengths & weaknesses.

We work together with comprehensive understanding of our goals.  It is important to develop disciplines that restore HOPE and SELF LOVE.  We learn about how to work within our natural strengths & challenge out natural weaknesses to grow & improve.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Tree is a recovered addict and over-eater(binge).  In the last 8 months  she has maintained 8 months sobriety, re-discovered her center through grounding & mindfulness, found her truth, lost 40 pounds & learned to smile from her soul again.

With this experience I want to pass this gift on to others... with HOPEFUL expectation that life can be sweet and truly enriching again!

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

$20.00 per session.

How did you get started teaching?

I realize I am a natural encourager & equipper.  I have been teaching and mentoring people since 2004.  I am naturally gifted in this way to help others.

I spent 6 months in California creating an enriching life in sobriety!  I rediscovered who I am- what I love- and how I like to be encouraged/ challenged/ centered.  Now I'm ready to share my knowledge and help others begin their journey as well!

What types of students have you worked with?

Lots of Teenagers.  Men and women of all ages & backgrounds who want to excavate their smile and walk proud again.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

It was a warm, breezy day in Del Mar, California.  The terrace was circular with white stones.  My yoga mat was positioned facing a unique tree that attracted hummingbirds to its fragrant pink flowers.  The music is as soft as the gentle breeze and warm, soothing sunshine.  I get into my shavasana pose, close my eyes and try to clear my racing mind.  My breath is strong and steady.  I slow it down a bit and set my intention of loving my soul for the next 30 minutes without interruption.  I tell myself, "I will take care of you- my sweet little girl".  My breath slows and I count in 1-2-3-4 and out 1-2-3-4-5-6-7 and sink into my back, heals and mat completely.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

I advise students to consider my credentials.  I do not have certifications or degrees in psychology.  I am more of a trail leader- a guide down the rapids of life (so to speak).  I am a sherpa that can show you the sucessful trail I took up the mountain...  to regain my footing in a purposeful life.

My education is as a Software Engineer.  I own an 80 acre farm.  I've been married 19 years, have 3 teenagers & a dog.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

Dearest Student,

Are you ready to go to any length to cultivate change in your life?  Please understand you will only reap what you sow into yourself.  It is vital that you be ready to grow... and challenge yourself to enter into our practice.  It will not always be enjoyable- but the journey is well worth the effort.
