Daniel C. says, "Brad is awesome. He is really funny and passionate about the music he teaches, and is really skilled too. It's been an absolute pleasure learning from him for so long! He is really understanding and pushes you as a musician to play difficult classical pieces, but his fun demeanor makes practice not feel like a "chore". He is overall just a great guy and really easy to talk to. "Put 'er in D" :)" Read more

Tony R. says, "I love working with Davide from Bass & Guitar lessons. I study bass with him. He has helped me with many styles: rock, funk, R&B, disco, and metal. He understands them all. He is a talented musician and a patient teacher. He can play what I want to learn. I’ve been with him for a couple of 2-hour sessions in person and a dozen sessions online via Zoom. He has a multi-camera teaching system where he can point his second camera at the fingers I need to see and then adjust Zoom to use that second camera’s angle . His bass comes through clear over Zoom, which is sometimes hard to do. I have confidence that I will continue to learn what I want. We recently made a list of songs I like that have interesting (to me) basslines and he is helping me through them over time. I can already play the guitar and I told him when I met him that I want to be a bassist, not just a guitarist who plays a bass like a guitar. Davide loves music and teaching and it shows in his pursuit :) I’m well on the road, thanks to Davide!" Read more

  • Request a list of other students they've taught to check their experience.
  • Ask other parents how their children feel about the teacher.

  • Can you modify your teaching approach if I'm finding it hard to grasp?
  • What items should I bring to each lesson, and how long does it last?

  • What is your policy if I have to cancel a lesson suddenly?
  • Can I incorporate my favorite songs into the learning process?

Davide is a patient, dedicated and encouraging teacher. I first signed up for guitar lessons with him back in 2015 to challenge myself to try something new. I didn’t have any prior experience with playing music, so I was anxious and prepared to give up after a month or two. Davide has been a wonderful teacher ever since! He is attentive to the learning process and creative in coming up with different ways to teach concepts, using music you like to teach you how to play. Pretty early on we started with jazz and I struggled to even hear a swing note, let alone play one. When I was finally able to play along to Ella Fitzgerald’s rendition of “Blue Moon” I was, and remain still, so happy! We’ve done different flavors of the blues since then and have been working on the bass too. Things I never thought I would be able to say...I highly recommend lessons with is guy!
