Clarinet And Saxophone Lessons

I graduated from Stevenson High School this summer with about 6 years of experience in a traditional school band. I got the opportunity to participate in many district and state level events such as ILMEA district (contrabass clarinet), ILMEA All-State (contrabass clarinet) and North Shore Honor Bands (bass clarinet). I also got the opportunity to participate in a semi-formal student teaching program within my high school. I worked with the freshman band students for a year and taught them many lessons with the guidance of the band directors. I have performance experience with instruments in the clarinet and saxophone family but my main instrument is the bass clarinet. I'm looking to teach middle/high school age students.

I've been preparing to pursue a career in music education since my sophomore year of high school and am currently enrolled in the music program at the college of lake county.
