    Raven is a FANTASTIC trainer! I was never an athlete growing up so I had no idea how to workout. About 7 years ago I had an injury that caused a bulging disc in my spine and after 4 years of chiropractic care to manage the pain I finally decided to have surgery. The surgeon recommended that I start working out and thats how I stumbled upon Raven. His background in kinesiology gave me confidence that he was going to teach me how to workout in a way that wouldnt make my injury worse, and its one of the best decisions Ive ever made. The first thing we did was talk about what my goals were. Based on that he tailored our sessions to fit. After just 3 weeks of working with him I was already feeling the benefits -- I was stronger and more importantly I wasnt in as much pain! Hes has tons of great knowledge and his teaching style is just amazing. He knows exactly when to push you without being a drill sergeant, and he knows exactly when to give you a break and tell you an interesting story to distract you. Hes patient and is willing to explain how/why an exercise works an area of your body. And if youre like me and certain exercises just hurt too much to do because of injury, hes quick to think of an alternative that will give you the same benefit without the pain. If youre serious about getting in shape hire Raven!

    Working with Raven has been great. It all started with great communication between us. Even on my first session it felt like we knew each other for months, not only an hour or so. Hes easy to talk to and you could relay on him with helping you reach your goals. I like that there are many new exercises Im trying and I do feel sore after each session, which is great, it means we do something good. I already started to see results and looking forward to every session I have with him. If youre looking for a trainer, Raven is the right choice.

    I started training in July with Raven. I was super determined to commit to working out & eating right. I wanted to make a big change in my lifestyle & thanks to Raven Im on my way there! Im currently down 25 pounds, many inches & feel great!! I wasnt sure what to expect when I started training with Raven, I had never had a trainer before. Each session we do something different which keeps me interested & motivated. Ive really surprised myself with what I have been capable of doing. If it wasnt for Raven I would never have challenged myself this much & realized what I could do! He is very patient & always encouraging.     Raven is an amazing trainer. Ive worked with him for a little over two months and Ive had some pretty significant results. He listens and is willing to work as hard as you are to achieve your goals. So far Im exceeding where even he thought I would be at this point. The workouts are tough but he makes them fun and hes very adamant about form and being safe. I suffer from should injuries and hes tailored my workouts so that I can carefully build the muscles without injury. I would recommend anyone whos serious about training to give Raven a chance. You wont be disappointed.

    I came across Raven on Thumbtack in my search for someone to help me get back into shape. From our first conversation I knew Raven was the guy. Raven is very professional and knowledgable in all that has to do with fitness and nutrition. On our first consultation, Raven had me do a series of simple exercises. With these exercise moves Raven was able to access my condition and identify my problem areas. Raven also came up with a nutritional plan to follow going forward. I have been seeing Raven 2 times a week for 12 weeks now and have recently switched over to 3 times a week. In the beginning, I was anxious to start out 3 times a week but Raven was honest in saying that I was not ready. This showed me that Raven was the type of trainer that cared about his clients and was more interested in results than selling number of sessions per week. Ravens work out routines are also very creative but affective. Raven is not the type of trainer that takes joy in working you till you collapse, he would rather see proper form and a steady build up of strength and endurance, especially in the early stages. When I first started with Raven, I was 198 lb. (58 height 42 years old). Today I am 178 lb. and feel over 10 years younger. Friends and family compliment me all the time. My journey is far from over but I know that with Ravens guidance I will reach my goal of being in the best shape of my life.
