About
I have been acting, singing and dancing from the age of 4 on. I also do voiceovers . Performing is all I know. I learned a lot of behind the scenes necessities to know, as my former bf of years was the President of Sony Pictures releasing and distribution and also a member of The Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences committee as well as the board of directors for the Academy museum. I have won scholarships of merit at The Academy for the performing arts, and The Chicago actors studio. Both of which I had to audition for. I have studied for years. My teachings will bring out of you even things that you didnt know you had. We are also one if not the only vocal and acting private instruction services that will teach sign language with music and vocals, acting, mime, and to learn for yourself or the hearing impaired. We have 2 very proficient instructors Rachael and Coral who can incorporate sign language into music, theatre, or simply learning how to sign. Sign language through music and voice has become a beautiful new art form that very few teachers offer, but my assistants provide as part of our vocal and acting workshop. We offer a myriad of services and have years of experience at what we teach.
I love helping someone with raw talent and passion achieve things beyond their wildest dreams and I know anyone who has the passion and willing to put the work into it can make their dreams a reality. Everyone needs a mentor. I begin by finding out what their goals are... Teaching them about what is needed to make it in this business, and how to network.. How to stand out from all the rest, and I work with the student to biuld a solid audition plan of attack. Different types of monoluges we will work on so that at any moment a agent, casting director or producer want to see say comedy.. You are ready, and you feel confident . You will know what you are doing.. Therefore be able to adapt yourself into the characer you need to be in.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
We will begin with a indivisualized format of what we need to do as each student is different with different talents, goals and desires. We will work to biuld their strengths to exceed their highest expectations and biuld their weaknesses so they are ready at any time for that audition and confident to meet that agent. I will teach the student what types of characters would be best for them and customize a indivisualized program of preparation and we will work to bring that out in them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started dance at 4. Acting at 5. Vocal shortly after that... I have done everything from film, tv, but more than anything musical theatre. I have done public speaking. I also have done voiceovers. I am currently getting into animation. I won a scholarship To The Academy for The performing Arts and a Scholarship to the Chicago Actors Studio on talent. Both of which you had to audition to be accepted into. I took speech 4 times in college... I got an A the first time but I wanted to become as proficient as possible at it. I believe to teach you need to have experienced it. Which I have, and I do know what the agencies and casting directors are looking for. I will provide life coaching as being a true actor... that has genuine authenticity, comes from deep within you. I will help giude you on the path that will help you.... to be the best actor you can possibly be. We also offer sign language to music/vocal instruction and for the hearing impaired. My 2 assistants are very proficient in sign language. They have had many years of experience.
