My artistic and painting style can be best described as abstract and improvisational. What I propose is that we unlock something for you, practice unpredictability and the notion that there are no wrong brush strokes.
Letting the paint and the mind flow within the practice of creating opens into the exploration of brush techniques, other modes of application and discussions about colors. This flow is the meditative benefit to painting. But in the end my goal is to cater the lessons into the direction that the student would like to learn.
I offer lessons in a wide variety of mediums, like charcoal pencil, pen and ink, colored pencil, watercolor, acrylic, oil, and a variety of mixed media. Each individual lesson is tailored to your unique interests and styles, such as zentangle, realistic, surrealism, abstract, and more. Group lessons are offered at request.
