Hello! I am a certified art teacher with a passion for helping students learn to communicate visually. I graduated from the Herron School of Art and Design with a degree in Art Education in Indianapolis in 2015.
I am a teaching artist, which means that I am actively involved in creating my own art and exhibiting my art around the Indianapolis area.
I teach drawing, painting and mixed media art. I help students develop and create ideas for their own art as well as push students to try new things and complete lessons designed to strengthen their art making skills.
I enjoy seeing the creativity, joy and progress my students show!

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
When working with a new student, I first want to get to know about their interests, experience in art making and goals. We will talk about what you wish to accomplish with our lessons. Do you want to work on creating a portfolio for art school applications? Are you trying to learn a new skill for fun? Do you wish to create works to submit to art shows?
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I received an Art Education degree from the Herron School of Art and Design in Indianapolis.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
I sell packages of four lessons for $200. Each lesson is an hour and a half long. I recommend students meet with me one a week to start with. The four lessons are flexable we can schedule them whenever is best for the student.
If I travel to you, the price is slightly higher, but I am happy to talk about this posibility with you.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students middle and high school aged. I have also taught adults at parks and rec drawing classes.
