Brandon has been in the fitness industry for over 12 years. While serving two tours overseas with the USAF he completed his Bachelor of Science degree from Purdue University, in Movement & Sport Sciences. Brandon started his fitness journey greeting guests and handing out towels in the gym to eventually work his way up to head personal trainer and ultimately just training clients out of his home for five years. Over the years he has held many fitness certifications with TRX Suspension Training, NCCPT, Ignite360, CrossFit Level 1, & CrossFit Weightlifting. Throughout his experience of training & learning different methodologies his approach to fitness is tailored to find the best modality for you!
Having been invovled in sports and physical fitness since I was a child, I really enjoy personal achievements that create milestones in your fitness journey. Watching my clients succeed in meeting each goal along their journey is such a rewarding experience to share with them.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
After discussing your goals and past phyical fitness history I will conduct a free fitness baseline test. This gives me a feel for where you are in your fitness journey!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor of science degree from Purdue University and also hold current certifications with TRX Supspension Training, CPR/First Aid/AED, ICG Training, & CrossFit Weightlifting.

How did you get started teaching?
I got started coaching over 12 years ago handing out towels at a local gym while I was in college. Durning my sophmore year I asked the owner if I could try my hand at personal training!
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with high school sports athletes, foreign exchange students, and several other college students!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Be sure to shop around and find the right coach for you and don't be afraid to ask questions no matter how silly you think they sound!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Students need to ask themselves why they want to do what it is they wany to do. May it be gaining or losing weight, "What would happen if I gained 20lbs or lost 20lbs?"
