What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Determine what the student's physical abilities and future goals are. First through a conversation and then through a very basic training session. Once a baseline is established then we can move toward their goals!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
13 years of Kali (armed and empty hand)
8 years of Muay Thai
6 years of BJJ
Countless hours of self and guided education in the arena of self defense, violence dynamics and dealing with people (the most important part of self defense)
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
This depends on the student and what they need from me. From $25-$50/hr is the range but package deals can be arranged
How did you get started teaching?
As a fighter it seemed part of the natural progression to begin to share with others
