I customize wellness programs that incorporate yoga, brain based fitness, therapeutic movement, strength & conditioning and intuitive eating. I aim to give clients the tools to get strong and stable, improve posture, move athletically, manage and over come pain, understand basic Yoga poses deeply, get into challenge poses safely, reduce stress, and incorporate a sustainable wellness program into their lives.
I love it when I see someone hit a challenge pose or move with more confidence, and less pain. Or to see someone shift their focus from rapid weight loss or a "bikini body" mindset, to creating a sustainable relationship with nutritious food, and intelligent exercise. This is something that begins inside and radiates way beyond just being "fit".
Every BODY is different, and every new challenge, talent, fear, etc. leads to inspiration and a shared creativity in finding tools that will cultivate your best expression.
Krista is an excellent teacher on so many different levels. She sequences and leads creative, energetic, and genuinely fun large classes. Peak poses are very well prepped (often without you realizing what you're doing!) so you can safely and (and sometimes shockingly) get into challenging poses. But Krista also manages to interact personally with all of the students and build an amazing community. This individual attention has been invaluable to my yoga practice -- Krista knows what issues I'm working with and goes out of her way to give me modifications and extra strengthening exercises to work through. Beyond getting into exciting poses, I always trust that Krista is helping me build solid foundations with proper alignment for a safe practice. I look forward to every yoga class! It can be difficult to know whether someone is a good fit for you based solely on information online. I would recommend attending a class, workshop or booking a session with a few coaches you resonate with before making a long term commitment.
The number one question is: How much am I willing to dedicate to improve the way I move, and feel for the long-term? I have been blessed to work with clients that truly want to take charge of their personal well being, and they make space for that transformation week after week. Life can be a sublime, and unimaginable winding road, but they are present to the best of their ability and dedicated to becoming the best versions of themselves.
