Hey there, I'm Krista!

And I'm so happy you have landed here on my page. I've worked in the health and wellness field for a decade and have helped so many kindred clients overcome chronic aches and pain, manage stress/overwhelm from daily life demands, and create preventative wellness practices for life long health and well being.

Maybe you feel like your body is always tight and achey. Or you notice things you used to be able to do without much thought, feel harder, like balancing on one leg or picking up heavy things for instance. Maybe you notice that you feel overwhelmed by daily life stress, experience anxiety, shallow breathing, difficulty relaxing and need a support system, to not only help you unwind your body, but also just to see you, offer mindfulness practices, and gently guide you when you are feeling overwhelmed.

I specialize in helping you create the building blocks of movement so that more than just knowing a few poses and movement drills, you develop the awareness of what your body can and can’t do and how to adapt movements to what your body needs, and how to progress step by step towards joining larger group classes, and other athletic adventures.

This way no matter what class you take, you will know how to

navigate it according to your unique needs.

I am a trained BackFitPro specialist, Structural Yoga Therapist and Mobility Coach, and I’ve got over a decade of experience working with

hundreds of clients. My approach is unique in that everything

we do is based on the health of your nervous system!

I love it when I see someone hit a challenge pose or move with more confidence, and less pain. Or to see someone shift their focus from rapid weight loss or a "bikini body" mindset, to creating a sustainable relationship with nutritious food, and intelligent exercise. This is something that begins inside and radiates way beyond just being "fit".

Every BODY is different, and every new challenge, talent, fear, etc. leads to inspiration and a shared creativity in finding tools that will cultivate your best expression.

I firmly believe that once you build a solid foundation, then the sky is the limit for what you are capable of doing, the innate intelligence of your

body is already there, and it's just a matter of helping you reveal it's genius.

    Krista is a very compassionate teacher, as well as being highly skilled. I feel really comfortable and at peace in her class, and I love that her classes are judgement free and not at all competitive. I came to Krista with minimal experience in yoga and a lot of limitations. Since practicing with her consistently, I have grown to be more flexible, and strong. The simple techniques she teaches such as joint mobility exercises have helped with knee pain while doing strenuous activities like hiking. My Yoga practice has deepened thanks to her and I feel inspired to continue to push myself further!

    Krista is an excellent teacher on so many different levels. She sequences and leads creative, energetic, and genuinely fun large classes. Peak poses are very well prepped (often without you realizing what youre doing!) so you can safely and (and sometimes shockingly) get into challenging poses. But Krista also manages to interact personally with all of the students and build an amazing community. This individual attention has been invaluable to my yoga practice -- Krista knows what issues Im working with and goes out of her way to give me modifications and extra strengthening exercises to work through. Beyond getting into exciting poses, I always trust that Krista is helping me build solid foundations with proper alignment for a safe practice. I look forward to every yoga class! I cant recommend Krista enough!

    Frequently asked questions

    I start with a free discovery call, take a detailed movement/injury history, and get a feeling for your movement goals! Next, we set up a time to meet I run a series of assessments including gait, sit to stand test, strength/mobility/balance assessments. *These assessments are tailored to the virtual experience and are just as effective, as in person assessments. Based on what we find we start with foundational strength and mobility exercises during this session, and then I design a 12 week conditioning program utilizing various exercises/therapeutic tools to support you in moving with less pain, and more confidence. The process of working 1-1 can take anywhere from 3 months-2 years, during this time you have access to my group sessions as they become appropriate for your level. It is my hope that once we get you out of pain, and equipped with a solid movement foundation, that you can then join my more advanced classes and continue to develop your new movement skills!

    I am a Nasm certified personal trainer, registered yoga teacher, and Zhealth practicioner.  

    I have various investment points available! The most cost effective way to work together is in a virtual group session or virtual private sessions! The cost of in person sessions varies based on travel time and studio fees, and there is limited availability. Intimate virtual group classes and series: Low Back Love 6 week Series: $222 Sun Moon Group Classes: 59$ Monthly Membership or 189$ 10 Pass ------------------ Uniquely You 1-1 Coaching: Single Virtual session: $125 6 pass: $612 (ask me about my New Client discount!) Includes: 6 1-1 60 minute private calls 2 separate practices with video instruction updated monthly including yoga mobility, meditation/nervous system regulation, and strength training.     It can be difficult to know whether someone is a good fit for you based solely on information online.  I would recommend attending a class, workshop or booking a session with a few coaches you resonate with before making a long term commitment.  

    The number one question is:  How much am I willing to dedicate to improve the way I move, and feel for the long-term?  I have been blessed to work with clients that truly want to take charge of their personal well being, and they make space for that transformation week after week.  Life can be a sublime, and unimaginable winding road, but they are present to the best of their ability and dedicated to becoming the best versions of themselves. This dedication never ceases to amaze me and inspires me to be a better coach.
