The Youth Ensemble of New England, founded in 1968, is based in Lancaster, Massachusetts, and its surrounding areas. The ensemble consists of around 35 young musicians aged 10 to 20. They rehearse at the Thayer Performing Arts Center and play over 30 concerts annually at various local venues. Welcome! My teaching focuses on the students interests with a balance of technique and fundamentals. After receiving a degree in music performance, touring with 3 bands and playing on 2 cruise ships, I began teaching in Boston: sax, clarinet, flute, piano. I went on to direct elementary bands and teach guitar and song writing in Brookline for 7 years. I customize lessons to fit the need and learning style of my students and have experience with all ages and many interests. I teach on-line or in my studio in Belmont, MA.
