We did handmade ravioli, and sauce from scratch. Then we ate till we popped. Can’t wait for the next one!
Suzi taught a parents and children together cooking class for our after school program. I liked that she was able to talk about cost saving, and faster recipes that were still focused on health. She kept the kids busy and they had a good time.
I got my girlfriend a cooking class as a date night. It was fun working on something together, and we got to learn about arranging the food, and we had a romantic meal just the two of us after. We’ve made some things from the class since then, pretty useful.
We fit a good amount of stuff into a 2 hour class, I was so surprised! Making seitan from scratch was such a great way to spend an afternoon. Suzi hung around to show us some good ways to cook the seitan we made. Can’t wait to take her next class.
Gauge interest and experience. Work together to create a menu and choose ingredients. Plan a class to communicate those goals and reinforce them with additional resources like book referrals, recipes, websites and hands on demonstrations.
I’ve worked in the restaurant and hospitality industry for 15 years. I have a background in Arts and education, so I love finding visually appealing ways to present amazing food, and working with different people to find the teaching and learning style combination that works for them
materials and ingredients typically cost extra and will be determined during the class design consultation prior to the class itself. Budget of all sizes will be considered. Additional participants of all ages who will be hands-on are extra.
