Karen Sarkisian was an excellent pedal steel guitar teacher for our teenage son. She provided terrific, high-quality instruction, offered a nice balance between challenging and supporting him, and also jammed together, making the lessons a lot of fun too! We were fortunate to find Karen, a highly sought steel player for local gigs, as it was not easy to find someone who not only plays but also teaches this instrument. We highly recommend Karen!

My story: About 8 years ago I decided I wanted to learn to sing. I found Robins Music Studio and Robin Hudson on line. I explained to Robin that I thought I was tone dear and could not read music. I have a handicap of being blind in one eye and poor vision in the other. Robin assured me that she could teach me to sing. She has to be the most patient person I ever met. Each lesson she would spend a little extra time with me. Always encouraging and inspiring me -- and finding new ways to help me reach my goals. Week after week she would enlarge my music so I could read it. She would sing in my ear so I could hear how the notes went. We would clap our hands and tap our feet to learn rhythms of each song. Whatever help I needed, Robin found a way to help me. I fee Robin went above and beyond knowing how badly I wanted to sing! She is an incredible and amazing teacher that gives from her heart to each of her students. During recital I have witnessed how her other students have grown. The Youth Choir at our church is being taught by Robin and they sing and play handbells at the same time! She has also taught two young ladies how to play the xylophone! Robin has enriched my life tremendously and I recommend her highly. Denise Bellerose

Josh is a wonderful teacher, he is always energizing and engaging, my son enjoys and look forward to his lessons every week, and he is learning solid technique with Josh, expanding his styles along the way, Josh is so versatile he is capable of teaching any style with ease, we are thrilled with our son’s progress! Josh is always punctual, in case of exceptions, he always communicate in advance, there are detailed notes written on manuscript so there is no confusion as to what to practice for that week. He also communicate with the parents about the lesson each week, we really appreciate the fact that Josh is also a super talented and accomplished performing and recording artist, his insight into stage presence and music production put his teaching on another level, I am sure his expertise will enrich and help prepare my son’s musical career further!
