I heard Perlman’s playing of Beethoven violin concerto and Miles Davis’ jazz solo on So What today, I want to be able to do both! 1) Play the violin 2) Know the music 3) Emulate the giants 4) Express yourself Every style of music has its learning curve, I help students building solid violin performance skills, which is the key to access creativity(ultimately, it becomes part of your voice). After, with an efficient system of musicality training (Music Theory, Ear Training, History Knowledge...etc), students would be able to play different styles depending on their desire (Classical, Jazz, World, Old Time...etc), in the end be able to fully ex...

I really didn’t know the true potential of my voice until I started taking lessons at Bristol. There is a great deal to be learned in these lessons, and if you work at it results come pretty quickly. The classes are super fun and the teachers are knowledgeable, confident and very helpful. Definitely worth checking out even if you just like to sing for fun.

Curtis has been teaching my 7yo daughter how to play the ukulele for the past three months. His patience with her attention span and her fluctuating willingness to play each week is commendable. Some weeks she's fully focused, and other weeks she's somewhere else. He has a great understanding of how to work with children to build a rapport. Because of that, she looks forward to her lessons every single week. She is able to be her goofy self during the lessons and, from that, Curtis is able to find her strengths in order to build her technique and understanding of the instrument. He works with whatever level of ability she brings to the lessons each week and will come up with activities on the fly to suit her needs and interests. As a bonus, since I sit in on the lessons to help assist, I too have started to strengthen my ukulele abilities! These lessons have been a great experience and have given us something positive to look forward to in the middle of the pandemic.

Sandra is very serious and dedicated to the learning process. She put together a comprehensive and challenging curriculum that both fulfilled my expressed goals and drove me to reach for more. She is engaging and pulls in material from diverse sources and areas of life--film, music, politics, history, the various spanish-speaking cultures around the world. It was a true joy working with her.

I’ve been working with Kelsey for a few months now and she’s completely changed my life! I was so afraid to sing publicly, and it was a very sensitive subject for me. Working with her has given me a newfound confidence to sing in all of the bands I’m in! She has a really great teaching style that is both informative and encouraging, and lessons with her are always fun and supportive. I never knew there was so much to learn about my voice and how to sing correctly until I started working with her!
