About
Part of the work I do is helping people learn to become aware of what is going on in their mind and body, without judgement, and find simple ways to use effective coping strategies in times of stress, anxiety, and grief. Through Reiki Healing, yoga and mindfulness, meditation and grief support, I meet people where they are at and work alongside them to create a sustainable plan of living a more mindful life.
I enjoy working with all ages and backgrounds of people. We are all unique and so no one wellness journey will match another. My job is to help my clients find easy ways to incorporate mindful living into their every day lives that are personalized to them.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
It's important to have an initial conversation with new students to discover what it is they are specifically looking for and how I can best design a program that fits their needs. I support my students not only when I meet with them but with frequent check-ins as well. I want to create a safe place for people to feel seen and heard, without judgement.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have gone through three Reiki trainings, with the Reiki Master/Teacher training most recently in 2020. I have taken over 500 hours in extensive training for my yoga and mindfulness and grief educator trainings as well.
How did you get started teaching?
I have always been a teacher at heart, from the time I was a little girl. I have been in education for many years but connecting with others in a more holistic, inner self kind of way resonated more with me than anything other work I've done. What I do is more than a job. It doesn't feel like work. It feels like a mission and a journey of self discovery for my clients, as well as for myself. It's an honor to be a part of people's journey in this kind of way.
What types of students have you worked with?
I have worked with students of all ages and backgrounds. The work I do can easily be geared for any client I work with.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
I recently ran a Reiki and Meditation class at a local fitness club. I had a few students come up to me at the end and say that they had tears streaming down their face. They had gotten into such a place of stillness and calm that they were able to release a little bit of what they had been holding on to subconsciously. These were not sad tears. They felt at peace with what they were experiencing.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Find someone that you connect with and helps to honor where you are at in your journey. My hope is that I can create a safe space for people to be who they are and help them work towards a more mindful, present way of life.
