What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Each new student receives a free trial session during which we talk about their goals and learning needs. During this lesson, I also try to work with each student on something they're trying to learn so they can see how I teach and decide if it's right for them. For those students studying for exams such as the SAT or ISEE, I ask the student to take a practice test before our first meeting. This allows me to see the areas in which the student needs help and provides something for us to work on during our first session. Following that first session a regular schedule is arranged
