My service is for all ages. We offer sewing classes, camps, after-school program, specialty classes and sip & sews nights. Students learn a lifetime skill that will stay with them forever.
Learn about and how to use a sewing machine, understanding how to use patterns and creating awesome garments. This school has been in business for 11 years.
Just to see the faces of my students once the've completed that project. To know I have planted a seed that will grow into a business, design schools or just learning for fun.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My typical process is teaching them the basics on using a sewing machine. Including threading, bobbin making, speed control, and pattern usage.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a BA degree in fashion Design from BCCC and an certifcation from Paris /. American Design School in Paris
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
The price fro all levels (design) are $250 for a 8 week session. Students will come once a week for to hours. There are classes daily and weekends except Sunday.
How did you get started teaching?
I got into teaching because of two little girls that ask me to teach them. Once I did , I realized that shareing my skills was what I was supposed to do with my life.
What types of students have you worked with?
I work with all types of students from 7 yrs. to adults. Male and females.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
We just did a fashion Showcase in July. All partisicipating student got to show there design styles. The show was in a museum with Manneqart garments every wher! The students looked so proud as their designs work the runway! Me too!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Ask to see their work first. If they teach and sew for you then your not learning anything. The teacher needs to have a flexible schedule too!
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Know exactly what youe what to use this skill for. Are learning for fun, business, preparing for design school. Make a list of what you need to know in order to complete you goal.
