Ms. Anika obviously is very knowledgeable. She is very nice; she took the time to get to know me as a person, and not just as a student . She is a good teacher and guided me in improving my yoga forms in a positive way.

How did you get started teaching?

As I have been practicing yoga for years I came to the point where I felt that I am ready to share my experience, to hold a space for yoga practice, meditation and reiki sessions.

What types of students have you worked with?

I have a wide range of students from super newbies to very advanced students! I have a student with severe scoliosis, I had to create a program specifically for her.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I do see constantly how my students fall in love with yoga, as they get to know themselves better through the art of movement, breathing, meditation. For me it's the greatest reward to show the path of yoga to someone who was very skeptical about it to begin with. I love seeing people opening up and letting others meet their soul.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

1. I would look for a person who lives the life that he preaches.  Person who truly believes what he is teaching is true.
2. Someone with solid educational  background, who is striving for improvements, constantly learning and exploring.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

1. Past traumas/injuries

2. Level of their physical activity

3. What do they want to achieve through yoga
