He’s awesome! I feel like i’m actually learning when we have a session. Any questions that i have he’s has an answer, even if it’s not directly about the bass, like music theory or anything about music in general. He also talked time to learn what I want out of being a musician and curates our lessons to that while still teaching me fundamentals. #1 things is that he’s patient. I began taking accordion lessons from Mike Rubin in June of 2020 after many years of not playing. Mike is an accomplished musician who can effectively share his skills with his students in an organized and clear manner, as well as being understanding and encouraging. Most of all he is willing and able to teach to the student's priorities and allows you to set the agenda for what you want to learn. I would highly recommend him.
