Hello everyone, my name is Todd Coburn - I've been personal training for over 20+ years. My strengths and experience ranges from a wide area of interests I've explored and has been a great journey.

I bring a wealth knowledge and experience as a health coach and fitness professional, tailored fitness services, and specialized nutrition plans you won’t find online or in some health magazine.

Your fitness plan will be carefully crafted, each workout will target the areas you want to transform. You will also have a nutrition expert to offer suggestions on how to get the most effective results.

I'm also a Self-Defense instructor that teaches boxing/kickboxing, Krav Maga, Russian Systema, weapons and real life situations for those looking for an extra edge to learn how to protect yourself.

What I enjoy the most about my job is changing and ducating people how to live a healthy and happy life. My focus for my clients is to give them as many tools as possible and educate them so one day they can have the ability to manage their own health and fitness goals.

I have extensive experience working with business professionals, stay at home moms, college students, professional athletes, police and military. I am also gifted in helping those who suffer from obesity, chronic pain and health conditions, most are easily fixed through proper nutrition and physical activity.

What I enjoy the most is seeing people happy, looking back at their old pictures and saying "that peron doens't exsist anymore". I work with people of all types, but the people I ejoy working with the most are the one's who need to make serious change in their life.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

My prices are roughly $75/hr. but offer different packages and programs - most of my clients have a customized plan and work with them to meet their budget and goals.

Services offered are: personal training, small group training, health coaching, bodybuilding, online training, weight loss, nutrition plans, boxing, kickboxing, martial arts (Russian Systema - Krav like).

How did you get started teaching?

After leaving the military with an honorable discharge I was invited to work at a small kickboxing  studio in Detroit. After 15 years I decided to move back to San Diego and loving how many people are into fitness.

I finally feel at home and ready to take on more clients to make San Diego a health haven!


What types of students have you worked with?

Literally all ages and can honestly say I'm comfortable taking on the majority of clients that come my way since my  background has been in many aspects of fitness.


Describe a recent event you are fond of.

My last client lost over 125 lbs in 5 months - elimanted all health conditions and the need for prescription medications. The doctor stated that has it not been for joing my program, my client wouldn't be alive today. :)


What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

Do your homework, there are many unqualified trainers in the industry, ask for before and after photos, nutrition programs, certifcations and how many years expereince.
