Hi, I am Beth Freschi, a relaxation and life coach based in the Twin Cities (St. Paul and Minneapolis, MN). I started A Time for Expression, LLC in 2006 to help people relax, explore possibilities, manage stress and experience more personal and professional satisfaction in their lives. I work primarily with artists and creative individuals who have a strong interest in the process of life coaching. My life coaching clients appreciate my objective, enthusiastic coaching style that encourages free expression and creative thinking, helping them approach their life and work with a greater sense of direction and purpose.
I have a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of St. Thomas and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from St. Olaf College. With over fifteen years of experience in the mental health field (psychotherapy, research, inpatient psychiatry, and volunteering as a support group leader) and over 12 years as a relaxation and life coach, I bring a wealth of knowledge to my personalized coaching work. My life coaching clients can also receive free relaxation training as an additional optional service if they are interested.
I have a beautiful business space where I meet with clients in the St. Anthony Park neighborhood of St. Paul. It is the first floor of a 1904 duplex with a warm, welcoming atmosphere and plenty of comfortable seating to facilitate life coaching and relaxation training. Recently, two Twin Cities artists also transformed it into an art gallery, where I host Artist Salons and free Art Gallery Tours.
One of my other specialties is guided relaxation events and ongoing training for colleges, organizations and high-risk professions. I guide groups through effective relaxation techniques to calm the mind and body, providing a "learning by doing" experience. Participants leave feeling relaxed and empowered to reproduce the effects on their own time. Through the shared experience of guided relaxation, my events and ongoing training help improve harmony and team building as well as stress management.
Feel free to connect with me:
I enjoy helping people explore possibilities, express what matters most to them, and learn ways to relax and feel at ease in their lives.
One of the many ways she has made a positive impact on my life is helping me with my social anxiety. Most of my life I had this problem and thought I would alway have it. I was so up tight to the point that I had a real fear that I couldn’t be myself in any situation. With her nonjudgmental nature, knowledge and ability to instinctively teach through example, I was able to learn to simply breathe and to be ... me.
Her words of wisdom, joy and amazing gift of hope.
She has a wonderful voice and a powerful and positive attitude. Beth is an amazing person.
I provide a free introductory life coaching session so you can learn about my background and coaching style as well as ask any questions. Then if you want to try coaching, the next step is scheduling an intake during which I ask questions about your preferences, goals, and interests.
I find that once clients finish the intake, they have a good idea of how they want to begin the coaching process. The most popular coaching schedule for my clients is every other week, however, some like to meet every week when they are working intensely on certain goals. You are free to choose either weekly or every other week and switch to whatever makes sense for you at any given time.
I have a master’s degree in counseling psychology from the University of St. Thomas and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from St. Olaf College. I also have 15 years of mental health experience and over 12 years of life coaching and relaxation training experience.
I also receive ongoing mentoring and training from my mentor, which enhances my skills and supports my growth. I meet with her every other week because I find her guidance so valuable to me both personally and professionally.
After the free introductory life coaching session, I charge $75 per session, which includes free optional relaxation training.
I worked in mental health for 15 years, and towards the end of that time, I started seeing a life coach. I decided that life coaching fits my personality so well that my life coach became my mentor and I started my own business. Although I think there is a difference between coaching and teaching, I understand you are using the word "teaching" in a broader sense.
I specialize in artists and creative individuals, and I also work with college and graduate students as well as people who are interested in adding relaxation training to their life coaching work.
I suggest interviewing a few different people and choose one whose style and personality feels like a good fit. With life coaching, it's so important to be able to express yourself freely and feel comfortable with your coach's style.
