Hi everyone, I've been personal training for the last 4 years. I'm a nationally accredited trainer and sports nutritionist from National Academy of Sports Medicine. I work with a wide range of clients, from doing balance and stability work to training athletes to weight loss.
My motto is:
We start from your beginning point and not anyone else's.
Form is everything.
We must make weekly progress in some way shape or form.
What I enjoy most about personal training is seeing the joy on my client's faces after each goal we accomplish together.
I started training with Rahm when I was 205lbs. For a 6.1, I still felt I could do better. Within a period of four months, I'm at now at 170lbs, more tone, have more energy and a better quality of life. Rahm is authentic. He is guinenine He takes his job more as a personal coach vs just a trainer. He genuinely tries to learn about his clients. Most importantly, he practices what he preaches. I think that was and is the biggest motivator for me! My training routines are about 30 minutes three times a week. Quality over quantity is what I have gotten from my sessions.
Rahm is my personal trainer at YMCA Midway and he does an excellent job. He knows how to push me so that I keep working on my goals to keep getting bigger. His personalized sessions and routines are very effective to keep me motivated. He also does a great job connecting and we have become friends from his fun attitude.
I go through a full consultation with my clients. We start off getting to know each other and talking about past injuries, how active or sedentary you are, what your nutrition looks like and your water consumption. Then it's time for physical assessment. This where I put you through various exercises that tells me what muscles you are compensating with on a typical day. After getting all of that information, I go ahead make you a costumized plan that fits with your goals and the assessment that we did.
This consultation is free so this gives you the opportunity to think it over and say if it's for you or not.

I came from a family that never took their health seriously. At just the age of 17, I was dealing with high blood pressure and found out that I was also a pre diabetic. That was enough to push me into taking care of my health. Luckily, my high school had its own personal trainer and a nutritionist that worked with my health and helped me lose 65 pounds.
