I have 55+ years experience as a seamstress, knitter, and machine embroiderer and digitizer. I started in childhood, made my own clothes through all school grade levels, worked as a costumer in theatre and dance, and have worked making and altering wedding dresses, etc... I have also worked in the Irish dance dress realm for the past 20 years. I love to teach and am a very patient guide for anyone looking to learn.

I am very patient and intuitive when teaching. It is important that students master the basics of the skill they want to learn, but that mastery must be found within a student's own comfort zone. I am not a drill sergeant. Teaching is a joy for me.
