Ms. P's Art Lessons

Welcome! I focus on my students strengths and reasons for learning. The best education is specific and individualized. If you're willing to put in some practice, I can teach you techniques which helped me become decent at art such as color mixing, shading, and drawing what I see. I can also share information about the therapeutic/expressive aspects of art and different materials. I'm passionate about experimentation, practice, reflection and growth mindset. I'm best at teaching beginner artists. This class is for those who want feedback, personalized lessons, and those who want to draw something (anything) at an amateur level.

2024 was my first full-time 6-12 art teaching position. Before that, I taught prek-8 art twice a week at a private school. I love seeing students learn to believe in themselves.
