About
My name is Scott and I've been bowling since 1989 (age 9). I hold two hall of fame titles for perfect game and 800 series in league/tournament play. We can focus on anything you would like from mechanics, spare shooting or improving your overall game.
I enjoy the environment and the people that bowling brings. I used to call Brunswick Four Seasons my second home growing up. I used to bowl 30-40 games per week as a younger person and it was hard to pull me out of a bowling alley until they would close. Bowling is a game of enjoyment no matter the skill level and if someone is wanting to improve their overall game I'm very happy to assist you with that.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first lesson is primarly an assessment. I share my assessment with you at the end of our initial lesson along with asking you basic questions such as your end goals for taking up bowling lessons/instructions or advanced coaching.
Same thing goes for all the other services I offer unless you are a beginner then we focus on basic mechanics no matter what the lesson of the day is.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started bowling in 1989 at the age of 9 years old and been going strong ever since. I've had instructions from the best players that still hold PBA titles today such as Pete Weber. My father and Bo Burton Jr. used to bowl league together back in the 90s and I was fortunate enough to receive coaching/instructions from both of them to improve my game. I average around 215 on most house shots and always focus on spare shooting first because most bowlers will spare more in each game vs striking.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Private Lessons: $40/hr and $15 for each additional 30minutes not to exceed 2 hours. This does not include the price of bowling or shoe rental.
2-4 people $25/hr for each person and $10 for each additional 30 minutes not to exceed 3 hours.
5-6 people $20/hr per person and $10 for each additional 30 minutes not to exceed 3 hours.
How did you get started teaching?
Started back in 1996 coaching the younger generation and after their averages were improving their parents took me up on private lessons.
What types of students have you worked with?
Several different types such as left handers, right handers and the elderly who were looking to get back into the sport. All ages from 6 and up I teach/instruct/coach.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
1. Write down your short-term and long-term goals.
2. Know what you would like to focus on either on specific things or overall game improvement starting with mechanics.
