At KC Maker Studio & Fabrics, we love to share our love of sewing and quilting with our customers. We're beside them all the way as they explore their own sewing journey.
Seeing our customers learn to sew is a joy for all of us here. We want to support our customers to ensure they are comfortable with their machine and projects so they not only learn to sew, but have a lot of fun along the way.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
Students sign up for a 6 week Learn to Sew session. During the 6 weeks they learn the mechanics of the machine, the basics of sewing and complete several small projects.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
All of our employees have been sewing for many years. As the owner, I have been sewing for over 40 years.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.
Beginner sewing classes start at $125 for a 6 week session. These classes meet for 2 hours per week.
