About

Hello! It's great that you are looking to add new skills! I can help with some basics such as sewing. I spent over 10 years sewing for 4-H and then as many or more years quilting. I would love to start you on your journey or assist with projects where I can. In person sessions are booked for a minimum of 2 hours. I am available to my patrons by phone between sessions to offer assistance. I only have availability on weekends for in person sessions on some Saturday afternoons depending on schedule. Online offerings are only available after we have met a few times so I can understand your knowledge and skill to provide the most help remotely at a discounted rate. Thank you.

I think she was awesome. Even though I had an extra projected helped me. Even with my errors I never felt that could not correct the problem. She made feel like I could do the work. I have already scheduled more lessons.

    Beginners / some knowledge

Be patient with yourself in the beginning. Set aside focused time.

    * What amount of time do you think the project should take then double it.
    * Take time to get to know your machine and materials you are trying to use with it.
    * Have some clear goals understand you have to build your skills to get there. If you have never touched a machine or worked with fabric, know that prom dresses or evening wear can happen eventually.
