About
ohana.kajukenbo.org
Kajukenbo: The first American martial art was created in Hawaii in the late 1940’s and is a combination of Karate, Judo, Ju-Jitsu, Kenpo, and Kung Fu. It's very similar to Krav Maga and other similar styles. We also focus on ground fighting and practical weapons. At Ohana Martial Arts, there are three Black Belt instructors; Sifu Ken Sills (5th Degree) and Professor Charlie Walton (8th Degree), and Sifu Gian Pizzo (1st Degree). The instructors have also incorporated their backgrounds in Muay Thai and Bruce Lee’s Jeet Kune Do, as well as Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Western Boxing, and wrestling. Kajukenbo is well known not as a sport, but as an ultra-effective self-defense martial science. Classes are available for able-bodied as well as people with special needs!
We also have classes for individuals with special needs.
Channel 5 did a few segments on our class. Here's one.
