I offer personalized instruction in sewing and quiltmaking (basic and intermediate) in my home on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. I provide useful information and tips for addressing issues with quilt and clothing construction.
I have enjoyed sewing for apparel and home decor for over 30 years. I have also been making quilts for over 15 years.
I love helping others learn about sewing and quiltmaking, while watching them achieve accomplishments that they had never previously considered.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I prefer to begin with an indepth telephone conversation or email/text exchange to establish a clear understanding of the student's objective and formulate a lesson plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am self-taught, but have accumulated a decent library of books and videos to expand my knowledge and experience.
