As a former pro, coaching was inevitable for me post career. I absolutely love helping young student athletes and alike become more intellectual about the game. I believe where the mind goes the body will follow. So I work a lot on the mental side of your position as well as the physical demands of the sport. I have previous been a head coach and have won 2 state championships. I have graduated 95% of my senior classes. I have been fortunate to build great relationships with college scouts that has produced over over 1k scholarship offers in my brief 11 year history as a coach.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
I immediately want to know what a student desires are. What is it that he or she wants to accomplish by the end of the lesson. I ask motivational questions, I discuss relevant background questions they help in making a more accurate assessment. I also like to review feedback after the session so often I will require a 'update' survey on services rendered. Lastly, I summarize our session and plan for the next one by providing some sort of relevant homework that will assist in the progress monitoring.
