I am also an elementary scholl music teacher and have worked with children as young as 3 years old all the way to adults. I have a music education degree with my main instrument being piano, and my minor instrument being alto saxophone. I have a background playing classical, gospel and christian and jazz music.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I develop proper technique first and foremost.

I teach how to read music.

I teach music styling and small bit of music history.

I teach classical and popular pieces to develop the student's talent.

I also teach ear training as well, so that the student would be able to hear a piece of music and play it.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am an elementary school music teacher.

I play 2 Sundays each month for a church ministry and play Gospel, hymns and Christian music.
