Jennifer Jennette Yoga Education, Therapy And Coaching
About
I have a background in Montessori education and have been studying/practicing Yoga since 1993. I am a mother and an artist. Yoga for me is an art, a science, and a down-to-earth, practical approach for living with presence of mind and a sense of curiosity and wonder. My experience, depth of study and ability to make yoga accessible to all ages and abilites sets me apart from many yoga teachers in the area.
I am skilled at relating to people in a way that fosters trust and continuity as well as designing customized programs for individuals, small groups and organizations that specifically address their needs and desires.
Special interests and strengths include working with youth, teens, young adults, and parents to deal with everyday stressors associated with ADD, Anxiety and Aspberger's. I also mentor others to take control of their physical and emotional health by teaching healthy eating habits, exercises, and life skills.
I love connecting with people, sharing the practice of yoga & meditation, problem solving, creating customized programs, connecting the dots of the timeless practice and philosphy of classical Yoga with modern, everyday living, and offering each person I work with practical tools and support that empowers them to feel good physically and approach every day living with resilience and peace of mind.
