Patience, availability for questions and dedication to my desire to learn best define my experience with Patrick. It was such dedication that also made him call me out when he didn’t think I was doing my best or was making careless mistakes. Perhaps this wouldn’t be that outstanding except that Patrick did all of this long distance; he was in Philadelphia and I was in Delaware. He was timely in mailing me assignments and tests, and even more so in grading and returning them. I learned more from him in the 2 years I studied with him than I did in my last year of theory in my undergrad at music school. If you have the opportunity to study with Patrick Kreeger, consider yourself lucky. You couldn’t find better quality teaching elsewhere.”

"I have been playing the piano from an early age, but it has been many years since I took formal lessons. I have always wished to become an advanced pianist, but realized I needed professional instruction to guide me on my journey. I then found Erica. I am delighted to say that, in a few short months, my expectations have not only been met but far exceeded. I am now competently playing a Chopin Etude which has long been a particular go of mine. I had the privilege of studying piano with Margarita Zelenaia for several years before her move to New Jersey ended our lessons. She is a professional of the highest caliber, a gifted teacher, who encourages, explains, demonstrates, and guides the student to mastery across a wide musical repertoire. Margarita has the ability to teach students at all levels - from the beginner to the advanced level. Although I no longer enjoy her physical presence, I hear her words and see her notes, marked on the musical text, whenever I sit down at the piano. The hallmark of a master teacher is the ability to help the student develop strong piano technique, while simultaneously encouraging the student to appreciate what the music is trying to convey. Margarita Zelenaia has helped me to do both.
