Master Joe, has a true lineage to Hung Gar Kung Fu. I joined him originally in 2007, this is traditional Kung Fu at its most raw potential. The Hung Gar system very powerful but requires patience and commitment. The system is unfiltered and requires the certain kind of individual looking more than a challenge. You will advance based on your skill level. However, never underestimate the power of the instruction and kung fu. You have a unique opportunity to participate in a system that few complete. Are you Ready to Begin? If so contact American Hung Gar and begin with Master Joe.

It is apparent that the instructor has a deep understanding of kung fu and wants to share that with students. He takes a holistic approach to teaching, providing guidance and coaching. He is strong and clear in his directions and helps students realize their martial arts goals. I enjoy training with this instructor and will continue to do so

American Hung Gar provides a comprehensive mix of practical fighting skills and mental discipline. Master Joe has trained for many years, and his dedication to his craft is both impressive and admirable. I have trained with him for years, and I look forward to many more. Students begin right away with forms and the basics of fighting. They spar immediately under close supervision based on student comfort level. There is no "pay-to-win" here. Once you prove yourself a dedicated student, Master Joe tailors specific requirements for you based on your needs and abilities. Every student receives specialized training and attention, if it is earned. I highly recommend training in American Hung Gar with Master Joe if you have the interest and desire. You will get out of it exactly what you put into it.

I like the one on one tutorial. I like that knowledge and confidence I have gained the last three years. I like the fact senior students assist us in learning. I love the embracing of western mind set and teachings.
