I believe that in order to be a good trainer you have to practice everything that you teach and welcome new ideas. We all learn from each other and from others that lived before us. I’m truly great full that I have the opportunity to explore and study the various styles of the best fighters. I fell in love with the sport of boxing when I understood the purpose of skipping and how power is generated from the ground up through the hip and into a punch. Balance and movement are the most important assets in our lives and this is why we need to work on it.
My experience, dedication and personal qualities will be a viable asset to your firm. It would be a pleasure to meet with you to discuss.

Frequently asked questions
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The initial session is usually an assessment/ evaluation session with the purpose of gathering enough information to be able to design an exercise program in the most efficient way. The clients strength, posture, injuries and muscular imbalances will be identified and addressed properly. Then a program will be planed out for the next 4 / 8 / 12 weeks.

How did you get started teaching?
I developed a passion to teach at the age of 17, when I moved to ny from malta (Europe). I worked at crunch and Nysc and loved working in a field that brings such joy to both me and another person. As long as you exercise constantly and stick to a plan you will always be a 'winner'.
What types of students have you worked with?
as young as 8 years old and teenagers as well. I've done karate and boxing training with my young students.
Describe a recent event you are fond of.
My nephews first homerun hit in the softball little league he played in last Saturday. Everyone was so proud!
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
To make sure they question why they are doing these exercises and to understand how they will help them teach their goals. Also the client should never do anything that causes discomfort. There are always alternative to an exercise/ 2nd option.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
Where do they see themselves in 5 years and in 10 years of time.
