Combined, both my education and 8+ years as a solo musician give me the experience and knowledge necessary to help any student achieve their goals. I specialize in electric bass, Pop, Funk, Jazz, Bluegrass, and Rock. I am also a strings specialist, with a focus on classical music.

What types of students have you worked with?
All types! I studied jazz, composition, and strings at the Juilliard School and am confident in my ability to relay that information to my students.
What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?
Make sure that any teacher you choose sounds good! There are rare cases when a teacher has lost their facility but I would advise any student to see if they actually enjoy their teachers music.
What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?
In my experience all that's needed to improve in music is to have an open mind - I encourage all my students to keep an open mind when it comes to music.
