About this pro

I teach The Code of a Warrior and how to embody the the ancient fighter spirit in a modern day world. As a former professional fighter and a student of the arts for over 20 years, I accomplish this through modalities of life coaching martial arts and yoga. My goal is for you to know who you truly are through embodying the aspect of you that is willing to fight for what you want.

I enjoy watching people discover aspects of themselves that they never new existed. Everyone has a Warrior archetype within them that wants to be expressed. Through exploring martial arts, discussing warrior code strategies and mindfulness practices, I see people truly come alive. That fulfills me as a teacher.

Buck Grant truly is one of the gifted and skilled teachers and coaches one could ever find on any topic – I’m serious. Just a few minutes of being coached by him and you will understand why. I can’t speak highly enough about him, his knowledge of martial arts, human movement, human performance and the human condition. His commitment, command of topic and unique style of communication are on another level. Don’t hesitate to go with Buck for whatever your needs are, you’ll be glad you did. -Todd Fossey Founder and Chief Instructor Integrative Defense Strategies

He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He seems to know exactly the type of teaching style that fits everyone’s needs. I’ve been fortunate to train under Buck a few times and I can’t wait until I get the chance to again.

I knew Buck was not the typical fight coach when I first participated in one of his seminars. His comfort and passion with the material combined with his unique delivery had the entire room fully engaged. I knew him in the beginning as the Ajarn, and quickly discovered over time the many other areas of his extensive rank and knowledge. This rich background coupled with professionalism and the most authentic kindness make Buck a very unique coach to work with.

I’ve had the pleasure of benefiting from Buck’s skills and knowledge a few times at IDS. His level of expertise, insight and attention to detail as a instructor are exceptional. Buck is non-egocentric and as insightful about life as he is Muay Thai. I’ve also observed him training for high level firearms defense at IDS and he’s humble and absorbs new info quickly. A great guy and excellent teacher.
