Drama, Discovery & Learning (DDL) specializes in English, conflict resolution, communication, literacy and drama/theater strategies for learning. Founded in 2008 DDL also offers English instruction in reading and writing and test preparation for SAT, AP Lang & Composition and NYS English Regents Exams.

Hello, I am fully bilingual in English and French as I was born in Paris & grew up in NY where I studied through the French education system followed by American undergraduate studies. I have worked with all ages. I am an actor and enjoy finding exciting new ways to create a fun, personalized learning experience for my student in the spirit of collaboration! She is also a paid public speaker who helps her audiences "Hack into Language" and host of new podcast "Hack That Accent."  Through her brand, Speech Fox, Melanie helps non-native English speakers articulate clear business English and also empowers performers to master dialects from around the world. Melanie has coached speech and pronunciation for 20+ years, and holds a Master's of Science degree in Linguistics from Georgetown

I have been working in both professional and local theatre fod 35 years. I have successfully coached many students who have done Broadway, film,tv,and gotten into top theatre schools.i am a nurturer,not a dictator.
