I am a coach that will push your limits and mindset to a new level. Aside from helping you be the best player you can be, I focus on your integrity as a person "practice how you play". After training with me the game will seem slower and easier. Let's get started! I understand that there is no one way fits all training program out there. We have to start where you are at and build you up from there, even if that means we have to go back to the basics. I'm pride myself on not cutting corners and my clients get more than just a baseball coach when working with me.

Baseball has been the center of my passion since I could pick up a ball and I've played competitively at every level through Division I club ball in college, including high school varsity in Pennsylvania, where I helped lead our varsity team at Germantown Friends to multiple league championships as our ace starting pitcher. At Elon University, I served as the closer for the club baseball team, a student run and coached organization that competed with the best club teams in the country. Baseball provides an outlet for focus, education, and leadership that can build a well rounded person outside of an academic atmosphere. It has taught me the

I combine firsthand experience as a pitcher and hitter with a deep knowledge of performance training, mobility, recovery, and mindset. I know how to break down mechanics, correct energy leaks, and design strength programs that translate directly to velocity, control, and hitting power. Most importantly, I want every player I work with to leave the field better than they came — stronger, faster, more confident, and game-ready.

Your Baseball Training questions, answered

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Lessons.com.

How much do private baseball lessons cost?

Private baseball lessons cost $50 to $75 per 30-minute lesson and $80 to $140 per 1-hour lesson. The price depends on your location, the instructor's experience and reputation, the student's age, and whether the lesson includes extras like a video analysis of the player's performance.

Many coaches offer lower prices per lesson if you purchase a package that includes 6 or 10 lessons. The average package prices are:

  • 6 pack of 30-minute lessons: $270 – $420
  • 6 pack of 1-hour lessons: $450 – $720
  • 10 pack of 30-minute lessons: $400 – $600
  • 10 pack of 1-hour lessons: $700 – $1,100

Are private baseball lessons worth it?

Private baseball lessons may be worth it if your child currently plays the sport, loves it, and has expressed an interest in improving their skills and performance. Private lessons can help your child advance their skills, develop good habits, and avoid forming bad habits.

Motivation and a drive to improve are key factors in whether or not the lessons will actually help your child. It's important for your child to practice in between private lessons.

Children who receive private baseball lessons are usually more likely to advance to playing at higher levels than children who only receive group coaching during regular team practice. However private lessons don't guarantee your child will play collegiate or professional baseball.

What is the difference between private and semi-private baseball lessons?

In a private baseball lesson, the athlete trains one-on-one with an instructor who tailors the lesson specifically to their needs and skill level. In a semi-private lesson, two athletes work together with one instructor. Semi-private lessons, also called partner lessons, typically cost 10% to 20% less than private lessons. However, because the trainer's attention is divided between the two athletes, the athletes don't get the same level of individualized instruction as they would in a private lesson.

What age should you start pitching lessons?

Baseball instructors generally recommend that children start pitching lessons at around 8 to 12 years old, though there are no age requirements or exact rules. Learning fundamental pitching skills early on can help your child avoid developing bad habits that will be difficult for them to break later.

However, your child should not start taking pitching lessons until they are comfortable throwing the ball as well as catching the ball one-handed.
