I teach students how to be comfortable in their own skin. I’ve been an actor and teacher for over twenty years. If you are serious you need to come and see me to learn a way of working and to understand the process.

I am a teacher by nature and aim to build the students confidence that will crossover into life. When my student evolves, I know I have done my job. When I can contribute to a students knowledge base about art and life, I share with them a piece of the world.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

I believe that an artist needs to discover and explore their authentic voice by building their artistic identity. Acting/theater/life is about the internal voice and trust. The more comfortable you are in your own skin, the more people will connect and hear what you have to say. I aim to help the student develop trust within him/herself by working through, monologues, storytelling, improvisation and acting exercises.

How did you get started teaching?

I was an actor for many years doing, theater, soaps, tv commercials, VO and film. Teaching for me is an innate process that has carried me throughout my life. I believe we give back through the act of teaching and acting is a passion of mine that extends to personal development and growth.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

My advise to any student is to become clear to what they want from a teacher. What does the student hope to gain from the lesson? Does the student want to be famous or does the student want to develope skills by discovering a different lens to view the acting process through? What is the acting process?
