Established in 1972, the New Jersey Workshop for the Arts, based in Westfield, New Jersey, is a non-profit music and arts school that has been serving the greater Westfield area for over 45 years. The school offers an all-inclusive arts education for individuals of all ages, including those with special needs. They provide private music lessons on all instruments and voice, group classes, summer programs, and even fencing. With over 10 years of experience working as a musical composer and theory professor, I offer a unique approach to learning. The advantage of having a composer as a music theory professor is that you will learn by doing and creating music. Music reading, theory, and ear training—all aspects are integrated into my method. My classes cater to students seeking a solid foundational understanding of music analysis. Additionally, they are designed for musicians aiming to develop solid skills in music composition. We provide serious training, all the teachers are professional musicians with many years of teaching experience. They hold University degrees. Our students play recitals and participate in competitions. The training includes also serious music theory instruction. We are located in the beautiful Snug Harbor Cultural Center.
