FAQs

What is your typical process for working with a new student?

Often I begin with a complimentary consultation. In that way, together we can ascertain if we are a good match (the chemistry between a coach and client needs to be great for client's to have the success they are looking for). Then we can determine if online courses or personal coaching is the best route to take to reach your goals.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have over 30 years experience in the health, fitness and coaching industry. Speaking and training has always been part of my business model, and it is a passion for me. I hold a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Physical Education and Health Science, am certified by the American College of Sports Medicine, and I am a Wellcoaches Certified, Professional Health & Wellness Coach. I am also an ICF (International Coaching Federation) Professional Certified Coach.

Do you have a standard pricing system for your lessons? If so, please share the details here.

It depends on the program that is best to help clients reach true change and transformation. I work hard to help clients find the right fit that will work within their budgets.

How did you get started teaching?

I have been teaching health and wellness as part of every job I have ever had. Offering workshops, webinars, live courses, corporate Lunch & Learns, and now online education is an integral part of my business.

What types of students have you worked with?

Over the years I have worked with all ages. However, now my students are primarily working professionals and entrepreneurs who struggle to keep self-care on their daily to-do list while building businesses and careers.

Describe a recent event you are fond of.

I have had the good fortune of attending Brendon Burchard's High-Performance Academy. Being there exposed me to education from some of the highest performing, successful coaches in the world. I love bringing the knowledge I gained back to share with my students.

What advice would you give a student looking to hire a teacher in your area of expertise?

There are a lot of individuals who call themselves health coaches and teachers. Often they do not have the educational background, experience and credentials to teach theory and practice grounded in science. Make sure that your teacher does! When it comes to healthy lifestyle change, quick fixes and trendy programs not only don't work for sustained change but often can be dangerous. Do your homework, make sure your teacher has valid background training, and find a personality and style that meets your own.

What questions should students think through before talking to teachers about their needs?

What is it you want to accomplish? If you were to take this course and give it your all, what do you hope will be different and better in your life? Are you ready to commit the time and energy needed to complete the work and follow through?
