My teaching approach: I have Toured/Recorded with Maynard Ferguson, Joe Strummer, Peter Erskine, Randy Brecker, Chita Rivera ect. Also active on Broadway for the last 10 years, I am a solid fundamental teacher. I teach technique, bass line construction, styles, harmony, improvisation, scales/chords, professional performance. If you are ready to be challenged I am your guy. My guitar lessons take place in: The teacher's studio or the student's home Guitar Lessons with me take place in the following areas: My Studio in West New York or you home in Hudson County or Edgewater or North Bergin Guitar Techniques: Guidance In Equipment Selection, Recording and Production, Scales and Exercises, Music Theory, Reading Music, Jamming Skills, Improvisation, Performance
I enjoy the mentoring relationships the most. I love seeing someone take what I show them and apply in the real world. I am pleased to say I have several students who have gone on to make music there life's work .

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first thing is getting the students hands to work efficiently and easily. Then we learn what to play and how to construct solid strong bass lines . I'll work to help the student meet their musical goals, whatever they are.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BM in Jazz Studies from Indiana University and have personally studied with some of the best bassists/Musicians in the world. Including Ray Brown, John Pattituchi, Monte Budwig, David Baker, and Gary Pratt.

My Standard video lesson ia $50 per lesson. If someone pays a month (4 lessons) ahead of time, it is $45 per lesson. (or 180 for 4 lessons.)
