🎵 Private Piano, Bass, & Double Bass Lessons In NYC – All Levels & Ages 🎵
About
Hi, I’m Lukas Schraud — a working jazz bassist, pianist, and educator based in New York City. I’ve been performing and teaching for over a decade, starting with piano on the streets of New Mexico as a child and later earning recognition from the Taos Bebop Society for my early jazz work.
I’m currently completing my BFA in Jazz Performance at the City College of New York, having also studied at The New School with some of NYC’s leading jazz educators. My background spans piano, electric bass, and upright bass, with a focus on jazz, improvisation, and music theory — but I also teach pop, rock, and beginner classical.
What I Offer:
Piano, bass, and double bass lessons for beginners to advanced players
Music theory, ear training, and improvisation coaching
Songwriting, arranging, and practice strategy guidance
