The initial session is the most valuable way to match student to teacher, we can decide and mutually move forward from there. My coaching craft and lineage is rooted in the Moscow Art Theater approach (Stanislavski) brought to the U.S. Actors Studio by Strasberg (Sense memory emphasis) carried on by Strasberg's live-in protege Johnny Sarno who intergrated and expanded on the works and teachings of many others (Adler, Misner, Fury,etc) before his passing in 2016. I am the teaching protege of Sarno's work and have simplified and reworked many of the elements for quick study and both commercial film, TV and theater performance. I was also the co-writer, producer, director and editor of Johnnys series of acting dvds which laid out the foundation of the work with respect to cold reading, monologues, and scene study with emphasis on script breakdown, subtext, screentests, and the application of sense memory techniques to scene and monologue work which very few teach anymore. We can incorporate all or a portion of the craft depending on your intentions and goals be it theater, song, hollywood, newyork film and TV or commercials and voiceacting.
