I have been teaching ceramics for about 5 years now in a professional setting. I love hand-building, I know its not a wheel but that is so overrated. Making something with your hands in any shape or form is awesome, no electricity required. My work has been displayed at UNLV ceramics department exhibit. My favorite type of work is making busts.

I am told by my students that they were afraid to come to class because they couldn't draw a straight line. I provide a drawing for them to copy because they want to learn how to paint not draw.
