Ashcrafts
About
I have experience with many, many mediums, and can help students transfer knowledge from one discipline to another.
I began sewing at about 8 years of age, and worked thru 4-H, Home Economics in high school, and have continued my education since then. My work has been awarded prizes since I began, and still does.
Although I began working only in fabrics, I achieved my degree in interior design, in the '80s, and have since used my design in many areas. I owned my own custom framing business for several years. Now I'm retired, and I have branched out to many other areas - gourds, beads, paint, clay, figurative art (dolls), and paint.

What is your typical process for working with a new student?
The first step is an interview to assess the student's skills and desires. The second step is to build a program for that individual.
